Paddy
Over half of the world’s population uses it as their main source of energy since it is a complex carb. The fibrous root of the paddy plant grows up to 6 feet tall. It features long, pointy leaves on a stem with a circular junction. The edible seeds that are marketed as “rice” sprout on top in the shape of distinct stalks. Since the seeds are encased in a husk that is brown in colour, this is referred to as paddy technically.
After the paddy has been harvested and dehusked, rice with significant commercial value is produced. People frequently mix up paddy and rice. Paddy fields are another name for rice fields. The amount of protein, iron, manganese, fibre, and vitamin B in rice varies depending on the strain. It can thus be quite important in the fight against malnutrition.

1121:
Basmati 1121 is a type of Basmati rice that was independently developed via a protracted breeding procedure through hybridization. The photo-insensitive cultivars Pusa Basmati 1121 produces 19–20 quintals of paddy per acre. Compared to conventional Basmati cultivars, it develops earlier and uses significantly less water. Basmati 1121 is well renowned for its exceptional grain length, which may reach up to 9 millimeters (0.35 in) for a single grain, and it has a very high kernel elongation ratio of 2 to 2.5.
1718:
The novel genetically engineered seed Basmati 1718 is resistant to bacterial leaf blight, and because it is shorter in length, it prevents crop flattening due to rain, hail, or strong winds. This seed was created by genetically altering the well-known Pusa 1121 Basmati variety and incorporating extra genes to protect against specific illnesses. In the future, Pusa 1718 seed could offer a solution to the pesticide residue issue. Because of its shorter length, the PB 1718 cultivar can avoid crop flattening and resulting crop loss during the rainy season. The Basmati 1718 seed variety was developed to combat specific illnesses that reduce output.
1509:
The king of premium basmati rice is 1509 rice. Despite having somewhat longer grains than Basmati rice number 1121, 1509 is slightly less expensive due to its quicker cultivation and higher yield output than 1121. Additionally, 1121 produces excellent flavor and fullness when cooked. Because 1509 rice takes less time to cultivate and yields more than 1121 rice, 1509 rice is more affordable than 1121 rice. The first early maturing Basmati rice variety, Pusa Basmati 1509, matures from seed to seed in in 120 days. The semi-dwarf (95–100 cm) Basmati rice variety Pusa Basmati 1509 has a robust stem and a 95–100 cm plant height.
Suganda:
Sugandh is a semi-dwarf, highly productive, and aromatic type of basmati rice that may be grown in a number of different cropping patterns in North India. It is good for cooking and has extra-long grains. It can withstand breaking but is quite sensitive to salinity during the reproductive stage. This paddy seed is intended for use during the first phase of crop cultivation. Also known as “Surya Sugandha” or “Surya Parimala” unquestionably rank among the best-scented Paddy Seeds in the world. Rice with an aroma, fragrant rice.

It is one of the short-duration paddy crops, producing more straw in 110-115 days of harvest. Each pinnacle has more grains in it. Kranti Rice cooks to a softness, flavor, and rich scent. When cooking, there is no thickness in the width and the elongation ratio is about twofold. R-2022 is the official scientific designation for the Kranthi Kaar rice variety. It takes this paddy type 120 days to mature. It grows best in regions with irrigation. The grain is white, short, and bold. In India’s middle areas, it is difficult to find, however GunaAgro offers an exclusive service of the following. We are a significant producer and exporter of the highly sought-after Kranti Rice.
